Listing Moderation Policy

ProductShip.lol is a feed where anyone can submit a shipped product (a URL or an X/Twitter handle) for others to discover and upvote. Submissions to the free feed and to the paid Outbid Spotlight leaderboard are both subject to this policy.

What can be listed

• A real, publicly reachable product, website, app, or X/Twitter profile.
• Content the submitter has the right to promote (their own product, or one they use).
• Listings with an accurate name, tagline, and category.

What is not allowed

• Illegal content or products, including counterfeit goods and controlled substances.
• Malware, phishing pages, or sites designed to steal credentials or funds.
• Scams, fraudulent investment schemes, or unregistered financial offerings.
• Adult content, gambling targeted at minors, or hateful/harassing content.
• Dead links, placeholder pages, or listings impersonating another product or brand.
• Spam: duplicate submissions of the same product, or bulk low-quality listings.

How review works

Submissions appear in the public feed immediately, then are subject to ongoing review. We review listings when they're submitted, when they're flagged, and periodically at random. Listings that violate this policy are removed without notice. Repeat or serious violations (malware, scams, illegal content) result in the submitter being blocked from future submissions.

Spotlight entries are paid placements, but payment does not exempt a listing from this policy — a Spotlight entry that violates it is removed and the slot is not refunded.

Reporting a listing

To report a listing that violates this policy, email milisp@proton.me with the listing URL and the reason. We aim to review reports within 48 hours.

Appeals

If your listing was removed and you believe it was a mistake, email milisp@proton.me with the listing details and any context. We'll respond with the outcome of the appeal.
